Poor start to season continues for Sharks

THE Solway Sharks occupy bottom spot in the NIHL National League after seven games played with just two points following one win and six defeats. Playing all of their games on the road, while Dumfries Ice Bowl undergoes improvement works, it has not been an easy start to the new season for the team. Last weekend they were downed 6-2 away to Leeds Knights despite an brilliant performance. Lewis Young and Dylan Stewart got the goals for the Dumfries side. On Saturday evening the Sharks head to Hampshire to play Basingstoke Bisons. And on Sunday they face Peterborough Phantoms.

Meanwhile, limited tickets remain for the home opener next Friday October 24 against Leeds Knights.
