Police probe Lockerbie theft

POLICE are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen in a 'tidy search' of a Lockerbie house.

The incident took place between November 2 and 9.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Various rooms within the house were entered and furniture disturbed.

“Property stolen from the property include numerous items of jewellery, cutlery and condiment holders.”
