Police appeal for information after Gretna housebreaking

DETECTIVES are appealing for more information after a housebreaking in Gretna. A property on Glasgow Road was broken into between Saturday March 28 and Saturday April 11. Numerous items were taken including copper piping, cables and water tanks were taken that are estimated to be work a five-figure sum. Detective constable Rachael Houston said: “We are appealing to anyone in the area who has seen anything suspicious in the past few weeks to please come forward and speak to officers. "I’d also ask that those locally who have private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage please review this to see if it has captured anything of significance.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1370 of April 11.
