A TOTAL of nine proposals beginning the week of 6th July include applica- tions highlighted in Annandale, Stranraer, Dee and Glenkens, Mid and Upper Nithsdale, and Lochar.

In Annandale, validated applications include proposals for two Extract Slate Vents for 1 George Street in Langholm, DG13 0AE.

Alterations and amalgamation pro- posals to dwelling house properties have been proposed for 11 Grummel Court in Lochmaben DG11 1QR, and the erection of single storey extension at 8 Calgary Grove in Eastriggs, Annan DG12 6UB.

Plans for the formation of a load bearing surface along B729 public road to facilitate access for abnormal indivis- ible loads has also reached validation stage on the B729 at White Knowe in Castle Douglas.

In Dee And Glenkens, a planning application for the erection of a detached domestic garage at Inglewood High Street Gatehouse of Fleet Castle Doug- las DG7 2HZ has reached consultation phase due to take place on Thursday, July 30.

Mayfield Dairy Kelton in Castle Douglas is seeking to erect agricultural buildings, which has also reached validation stage.

An application in Stranraer for the reinstatement of internal doorway and changes to dwelling houses has been proposed at Wellington House Princes Street, DG9 7RQ.

In Lochar, an application for the erection of a milking parlour and silage pit at Muirhouse Farm in Holyrood has been proposed for the property at DG2 0RA.
