Little theatre gets set or big reopening

LOCKERBIE’S Little Theatre is set to reopen with a musical celebration after refurbishment.

Tucked away by the train station, this intimate, historic gem of a venue is ready to welcome back audiences with a modernised look.

To celebrate this new chapter, the theatre is hosting an explosive night of live music on Saturday, July 18.

Opening night showcases a mix of local talent and touring acts including singer Emma Cloy; seven-piece indie alternative folk outfit
Merrowfolk who are making the journey down from Glasgow ahead of their highly anticipated debut album launch this autumn; and rounding out the line-up is much loved six- piece band Kurlew returning to close the night with an up-beat set of original and classic songs.
