It comes as the region prepares for a busy summer and an expected influx of tourists and staycationers.

A council spokesman said: "Communities told us they wanted to see strong messaging to welcome visitors back to our region, encouraging #RespectProtectEnjoy. We listened. We acted. And new signage is now being installed."
