The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra, is thrilled to unveil their highly anticipated studio album, Sleeping Warrior.
With over 40 years of musical excellence, the 90-strong Scottish Fiddle Orchestra led by the dynamic conductor Blair Parham and Moffat lass June Nelson, above, the orchestra’s performances are renowned for their energy and joy, capturing the very essence of Scotland’s musical identity
Inspired by the rugged silhouette of the Isle of Arran, where the Sleeping Warrior rests in eternal watch, to the rolling hills and glens of the Scottish mainland, this album is a celebration of Scotland’s timeless beauty and musical heritage. It features a rich tapestry of tunes from traditional to contemporary, weaving together a musical narrative that is both deeply rooted in Scotland’s heritage and refreshingly modern.
