New minibus for transport service
AN Annandale and Eskdale charity which provides community transport has received a new wheelchair accessible minibus to help support people and keep them connected. Annandale Community Transport Services is delighted to announce the arrival of the new vehicle. The purchase of the minibus was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity and support of a number of funding organisations. ACTS would like to extend thanks to ANCBC, National Lottery Awards for All, D and G Regionwide Community Fund, The Robertson Trust, Clyde Windfarm and the Annandale and Eskdale Area Committee, whose contributions collectively made this much-needed addition possible. The new minibus is wheelchair accessible and will be used to support ACTS services and activities, helping individuals access transport safely and reliably, reducing isolation and improving quality of life across the area. The minibus will also be available to local schools and community groups for hire. ACTS is extremely grateful to all funders and supporters who recognised the importance of accessible community transport and helped turn this project into a reality.
