Museum hosts ‘Lego Weekend’
FANS of the classic bricks are invited to enjoy a weekend of all things Lego in a special event at the Devil’s Porridge Museum in Eastriggs this weekend.
Many historic scenes have been recreated, including a First World War trench, the munitions works at HM Factory Gretna, Robert Burns’ work with the excise, and various exploits of Robert the Bruce. Local legends of dragons and ghosts have also been depicted in brick form.
Visitors can take the opportunity to be creative building their own creations at the activity tables and follow a new trail around the museum where characters from wartime history have been specially modelled as mini-figures.
The activity is included in the usual admission price to the museum.
