Market returns this Saturday
ANNAN Harbour Farmers and Producers Market is back this Saturday, July 19, from 10 am to 2 pm at Port Street, bringing the harbour to life with another bustling mix of local food, crafts, and community spirit. Shoppers can look forward to everything from artisan bread, meat, milk, eggs, pies, jams, chutneys and cheeses, to fudge, honey, handmade soaps, garden plants, unique artwork and treats for your four-legged friends. There will also be a tempting selection of homemade Indian street food and wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas. It is a brilliant way to support small businesses, cut down on food miles, and enjoy a relaxed morning out. Families can also join in free craft activities, with Annan Museum offering drop-in sessions throughout the day and a rock painting workshop from the Bereginya Group from 11 am to 1 pm. The market is also dog friendly. Just head down Port Street, opposite the Blue Bell Inn, and follow it to the end. Why not come along, meet local makers, pick up something special, and soak up the friendly atmosphere by the harbour?
