Love is in the air

GRETNA and Gretna Green will be abuzz with weddings today for Valentine’s Day. For the UK’s most romantic town will host 28 wedding ceremonies on the most romantic date of the year. Confirming the numbers, a spokesperson for Dumfries and Galloway Council said: “There are a further two ceremonies in the wider region, making a total of 30 ceremonies in Dumfries and Galloway.” See next week’s paper for our round up of Valentine’s weddings
