Hotel liquidators appointed

INSOLVENCY practitioners from Edinburgh based firm, Middlebrooks, have been appointed as liquidators of Lonsdale Hotels Limited ‘The Gables Hotel’.

Licensed insolvency practitioner Katie McLachlan said: “I can confirm that Scott Bastick and myself were appointed as joint liquidators over Lonsdale Hotels Limited on July 16.

“The hotel ceased to trade prior to our appointment and any customers with future bookings have been notified.

“Our priority is to aide staff through the redundancy claims process and to secure a sale of the hotel premises with a view to maximising the return to creditors.

“Any enquiries with regards to this matter should be directed to our office.”
