Hospital covid cases

AN INVESTIGATION is currently taking place into cases of coronavirus associated with Galloway Community Hospital in Stranraer. 

As a precautionary measure, in-patient visiting and new admissions have been suspended at the hospital’s Garrick Ward.

A spokesman for NHS Dumfries and Galloway said more information will be provided in due course.

Meanwhile, the total number of positive corona cases for the region increased to 1258 yesterday.
