Head to the harbour

ANNAN Harbour Festival returns this weekend. With over 50 stalls, live music, hands-on workshops, children’s activities and the return of the Tall Ship La Malouine, above, complete with pirates, this year promises to be the biggest and most exciting festival yet. The Solway Pipers will open the festival with other entertainers appearing to perform live throughout the day, including Burgh Ukulele Group, Paragon Music and the Solway Buoys. There will also be a variety of street food, craft stalls, a photo exhibition and eco-zones, with one highlight being the flag parade taking place from 3 pm. Annan Harbour Festival takes place on Saturday between 10 am - 4 pm.
