Harbour solstice walk returns

ANNAN Harbour Action Group will complete their annual Winter Solstice Walk on Sunday December 21.

And you are invited to join them for a magical community walk from Barnkirk Point to Annan Harbour.

There will be a free bus in operation from opposite the Blue Bell Inn to Newbie at 4.30 pm and 5 pm – booking is required for the bus.

A bonfire will be lit at Barnkirk Point, and wax torches can be lit before setting of on an hour-long torchlit walk back to the harbour.

Hot food, drinks and festive cheer await at the finish line.

There is no booking needed if you want to walk both ways – meet at Annan Harbour at 4.30 pm. The event is free, but donations are welcome.
