Group want ideas for park redevelopment

AN Annan community group want people to share their ideas for the redevelopment of the old play park site at the Everholm.

Annan the History Town are inviting members of the public to a special drop-in event on Monday, July 14, from 11 am to 3.30 at the site just off Battery Street.

The group are hoping to transform the area – which includes a pavilion and former play park space – into an attraction with the planned Spirit of the Annan sculpture at the heart of it all.

There will be workshops on the day for attendees to get involved, including: Phil Dowling, from DG Woodlands; Jaye Gould, The Historical Herbalist; and Tom Hughes, DG Museums.
