DISCOVER the 'Forgotten Fleece Tales' of Langholm on Friday.

The event at the Creation Mill is a celebration of the space where craft, storytelling and ecology come together. Works in the exhibition are made using ‘waste’ or ‘unwanted’ organic, Scottish fleece, or any waste by product of fleece such as selvedges and yarn.

It boasts a range of items from wearables, wall hangings, rugs, architectural items and so much more. The exhibitions will be realistic, abstract and fantastical.

In addition, a creative writer has woven a short ‘tale’, for each piece, which is presented alongside the exhibition. These stories add an extra dimension to each piece, highlighting the value of fleece as a material throughout history.

The Forgotten Fleece Tales exhibition will be held from 10 am to 5 pm at the Creation Mill, for more information visit: www.ardbeagcrafts.com/exhibition.
