First rideout is next week
THE first Annan Riding of the Marches Rideout is set to take place next Wednesday, May 27. Those taking part in the Carrs Billington Rideout (Dornock) will leave from John Bell Field, muster 6.15 pm, leave 6.30 pm prompt. The route is as follows: John Bell Field, Seafield Road, Howgill Lane - FIELDS – Seafield Road, Peggy’s Burn, Dornock Mains – FIELDS - Dornock, Bellevue Road, Roundbush Farm - FIELDS - Stapleton Road, CARRS BILLINGTON REFRESHMENT STOP, Stapleton Road, Scott’s Street, John Bell Field. NB: all routes are subject to change. Whilst marshals make every effort to ensure the safety and good conduct of riders; ultimately all riders take part in ride-outs at their own risk. Riders must take out adequate, third party liability insurance and should be aware that they will be held responsible for damage to persons or property due to their horse’s or their hired horse’s actions. Routes may not be suitable for horse-drawn vehicles. All riders are asked to complete the registration form prior to attending, which can be found on the ROM Facebook page or website.
