Police Scotland say the 76-year-old woman was driving on the B724 Low Road at about 6.50 pm when she was in collision with a pole. A spokeswoman said: "She did not require medical treatment and there is no further police involvement." She added: "It appears that as she's come round the corner there's been a glare from the sun, and she's not seen the pole. "The company responsible for the pole are going to try and make good, and obviously it's going to be a matter between the driver and them as to whether there's any recouping of losses."
