Community celebration will mark next step for star

SUPPORTERS, partners and members of the community will come together this evening as the Star of Caledonia prepares to move into its construction phase. Designed to become a striking gateway to Scotland for travellers crossing the border, the Star will celebrate creativity, ambition and the identity of the border region. Lucy Houston, chair of trustees for the Star of Caledonia, said: “The Star of Caledonia has always been about people — about creativity, imagination, and celebrating this special place at the border between Scotland and England. As we move closer to the construction phase starting, it feels like the right moment to bring the community together to recognise the support, enthusiasm, and commitment that has carried the project this far.”
