Coastguard recruiting

HM Coastguard Annan is looking to recruit coastguard rescue officers.

As a rescue officer you will be trained and equipped to carry out search and rescue operations along the coastline – at any time during the day or night and in all weathers.

Volunteers are trained in missing persons search, water rescue, rope rescue, helicopter operations and much more.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given. Requirements include having a full UK drivers licence and being in good health. Applicants must also live/work within 20 minutes of the Coastguard team the are applying for.

Applicants from Annan should choose Area 16 as the area they want to volunteer in.

The training will run from the following dates: April 10 to 13 and May 8 to 11.
