Charity given helping hand by estate agency

AN estate agency showed its support for vulnerable residents in Annan by making a generous donation at Christmas.

Fine and Country Scotland donated £2000 along with food items from a recent food bank collection to Kate’s Kitchen.

The money will help the charity to strengthen its drop-in facility and cater for more vulnerable people who need support and a listening ear.

Harriet Reid, Fine and Country Scotland’s senior property consultant, and Hannah Sykes, a property consultant, also spent a day helping the volunteers, staff and trustees of Kate’s Kitchen in serving lunch and handing out presents to 37 guests.

Hannah said: “Fine & Country is dedicated to supporting those who are vulnerable and require extra support.

“We are very pleased to be able to help such a fantastic organisation like Kate’s Kitchen, which works with vulnerable people on our doorstep.”
