POLICE are keen to speak to anyone with information after a car was stolen from Annan in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Officers are appealing for information following a break-in and vehicle theft on Morningside Road between midnight and 3.45 am on Wednesday morning. The property was broken into and a white BMW M3 car, registration B7CJX, was stolen from outside the address. Enquiries so far have established that a silver or grey BMW car was seen in the area around the time of the theft. Detective constable Christopher Trosh said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we’re working to identify those responsible and trace the stolen vehicle. “We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or who may have seen a silver or grey BMW nearby around the time of the theft, as this could assist with our investigation. “If you have private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage from Morningside Road or the surrounding areas, please check it and contact us if it shows anything relevant.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0476 of July 30 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
