BREAKING NEWS: First official coronavirus case confirmed

At 2 pm today the Scottish Government released daily testing figures - and they revealed the region's first official case. No further information has been given about the patient or where they are located. So far, a total of 4895 tests have taken place in Scotland, of which 171 have been positive, including the one in this region. NHS Dumfries and Galloway have been asked for local testing numbers.
