Annual festival returns
ELMVALE Primary School pupils and families once again had a fantastic evening at their annual Elmfest celebration.
Children and adults enjoyed fairgrounds rides and animal interactions as well as opportunities to sit in a tractor, thanks to Lloyd’s Dumfries, and explore both a fire engine and police car, thanks to Police Scotland and The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
The event, hosted by Elmvale Parent Council, is free for pupils and their families and the community.
It has now become a special school tradition at the end of the year. The Parent Council would like to thank TA Francis and Sons and C and D Rural for their generous donations as well as Sofia (Youngs Seafoods) for sponsoring the event. Without the amazing support of local businesses the group would not be able to keep this event going.
