All set for May market

ANNAN Harbour Farmers and Producers Market returns this Saturday from 10 am at the bottom of Port Street with more great opportunities to shop local, meet the makers and producers, see how work is progressing on the long-awaited regeneration of the harbour, and support a much-loved community event.

There will be meat, bread, cheese, chocolate, chutneys, jams, cakes, bakes, honey, and divine desserts, plus award-winning pies and beers, and spicy snacks available to purchase.

Crafts, soaps and candles will also be on offer.

And Annan Harbour Coastal Rowers’ fundraising stall will serve up a few surprises, with something for everyone, including handmade tartan bags, knitted items, the popular tombola and refreshments.

Organisers say: “More than just a market, Annan Harbour Farmers and Producers Market is a meeting of great minds and big hearts, powered by passionate producers and fuelled by incredible community spirit. “Come along, meet the makers, hear the stories, and experience the magic of the May market for yourself.”

The market is on until 2 pm in the top car parking area in Port Street. There will be signs and people to direct you.
