A75 tidy up

A LITTER pick of laybys and verges on the A75 in lower Annandale will take place this weekend.

Members of The People’s Project Dumfries will be tidying up at Gretna, Annan, Clarencefield and Hetland Hall on Sunday.

The plan is to head out between 6-9 am before the road gets too busy.

And helpers are invited to join in whenever they can, for as long as they can.

A spokesperson said: "Even an hour would be fantastic and make a huge difference.

"This would be a one-off community event for the A75 called ‘Revive the 75."

Litter pickers and bags will be provided.
