A75 crash

EMERGENCY services were called to a two vehicle collision on the A75 near Annan on last night.

It happened at about 7.10 pm near the turn off for the town.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 33-year-old woman has been arrested and charged. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”

Meanwhile, a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson explained their role: “Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene to assist emergency service partners.

“Five casualties were checked at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service as a precaution.

“Crews left the scene at after ensuring the area was made safe.”
