Break-in probed at Dumfries factory

A BREAK-IN at a factory on the outskirts of Dumfries is being probed by police.

Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to the Dupont Teijin factory at Cargenbridge, Dumfries, sometime between Tuesday September 15 and Friday September 18 2015.
Police say it appears that the perpetrator or perpetrators have entered the building and caused damage in the process in an attempt to carry out what appears to be a theft.
Nothing has been stolen.
Constable Douglas Taylor of Police Scotland at Dumfries said: “Those responsible seem to have gone to great lengths to gain entry to the building and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and saw or heard anything suspicious in or around the Dupont Teijin Dupont factory over this period.”
