Street closure planned for football fans

A POPULAR Dumfries street will be closed for an hour when Rangers FC come to town this weekend.

Terregles Street in Dumfries will be closed from 1.45 pm to 2.45 pm on Sunday as a large number of football fans are expected to descend on the area to see Rangers play against home team Queen of the South at Palmerston Park.
The closure of Terregles Street, between Lochfield Road and David Street, has been put in place to allow coaches for visiting fans to be parked in the street during the closure so they can depart safely and swiftly after the match.
Appropriate signs will be placed in the area.
