Clubs shows support to Her Game Too

LAST weekend Gretna FC 2008 had their dedicated Her Game Too matches at Raydale Park in both the men’s fixture against Stranraer Reserves and the ladies’ game against Annan.

Founded in May 2021, Her Game Too is a Non-Profit Organisation which tackles sexism and promotes inclusivity in sport.

Lucy Ford is the co-founder and head of grassroots at the organisation.

She said: “I’m incredibly proud to see Gretna 2008 dedicate a fixture to Her Game Too this weekend. Her Game Too are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment for women and girls at all levels of football. Grassroots clubs like Gretna 2008 play a vital role in challenging sexism and inspiring the next generation, and their support sends a powerful message that football is a game for everyone.”
