Spreading kindness

RANDOM Acts of Kindness Day was marked in Gretna Green this week.

The Gretna Green group shared unexpected moments of joy with visitors, team members, and the local community, in a bid to spark smiles and encourage goodwill.

Handmade shortbread and fudge was left on car windscreens, four bouquets of flowers were placed in unexpected spots, see above, and crochet hearts were dished out to the wedding couples.

Spokesperson Michelle Hall said: “At Gretna Green, ‘Be Kind and Humble’ is one of our core values.

“We believe in supporting each other, treating everyone with respect, and finding ways to spread kindness. A simple act, no matter how small, can create a ripple effect that touches more lives than we ever realise.”
