GREAT WORK . . . Pictured, left to right: Shannon Walker, Rory Fieldston and Summer Morrison. Missing from picture Kirsty Aitchison and Susan Buchanan

THE team at the Pantry, Annan, were hard at work on Christmas Eve preparing 116 meals for those less fortunate this festive period.

Working with Dumfries and Galloway social work, each three course meal was going to be received by someone in need.

Back in November, Pantry owner Rory Fieldston, along with staff and friends, did a sponsored walk back to raise funds for their Christmas appeal.

The group trekked 11 miles from the takeaway on Butts Street to the Metal Bridge Inn just over the border.

Thanks are expressed to all who donated.
