Lifesaving boost

A CHEQUE for £1905 has been presented to Lockerbie’s schools for the purchase of defibrillators for both the primary and secondary campuses.

It was handed over to Academy headteacher Brian Asher this week by Lauren Jardine and Ian McLatchie, of the former community council which raised the funds.

Thanking the group, Mr Asher said: “I was delighted to receive the funds raised and I look forward to the purchase and installation of these as soon as possible.”
