Level two remains

HOPES are high that Dumfries and Galloway will move out of level two restrictions 'in the coming weeks'.

However, the region will remain in level two for now.

Announcing the level review at Holyrood today, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the level of the virus continues to fall or has stabilised in Dumfries and Galloway.

And she said that if the pattern continues the government is hopeful of a move to level one in the coming weeks.
