A national competition has been launched to mark the pandemic, as seen through the eyes of social care and support staff working in care homes and making home visits.
The ten categories are: hope, recovery, isolation, humour, reflection, loss, bereavement, observation, uplifting and bravery.
The competition is being run by Think About Care and the winning poems in each of the categories will be published in a book, with all proceeds going to support the mental health and wellbeing of social care workers through arts projects. It closes on August 31 and entries should be sent to [email protected]. Entrants must be aged over 17 and can enter as many times as they want.
