Break in at pub

NEARLY £1000 of cash was taken during a break in to a village pub in the region this week.

The Steamboat Inn at Carsethorn was raided overnight Monday to Tuesday.
Police are investigating and Constable Sam Ewart said: “We want to hear from anyone in the village who may have seen or heard anything suspicious over Monday or the early hours of Tuesday this week.” Anyone with any information which might help the investigation is asked to call Police Scotland at Dumfries on 101.
