UPDATE: Police reopen road after 'incident'

According to eyewitnesses officers, including negotiators, were focused on a bridge in the Dumfries Railway Station area. Police Scotland urged the public to avoid the area until the incident, in which no-one is understood to have been hurt, was over. The road was reopened around lunchtime NEWSDESK: 01461-202417
