Car overturns in Annan accident

Police and ambulance crews attended and the man was examined for potential injuries at the scene in Alexandra Place, beside the junction with North Street. It is understood the the driver of the overturned vehicle, a dark coloured Ford Fiesta, was shaken but not seriously hurt. Another slightly damaged car was also at the scene. One near-by resident said: "The young man was lucky not to have been badly injured. He was able to walk from the wreckage."
