UPDATE: Oil spill as tanker overturns on M74

A tanker overturned and blocked lanes two and three of the southbound carriageway. Lane three of the northbound was also closed.
As a result, traffic was slow moving and down to one lane on the southbound carriageway. Police, Fire and Rescue and the ambulance service attended. The driver was understood not to have been seriously injured.
