How many of these literary classics have you actually read? What about Winnie the Pooh, Anne of Green Gables, Catcher in the Rye, The Hobbit or Memoirs of A Geisha? They all appear in a top 100 list of the nation's best loved novels, along with Great Expectations, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Hamlet and many more.
