Views wanted about GP services
PATIENTS in Upper Annandale are invited to give their views about GP services at pop-up events next week and next month. Lockerbie and Moffat residents are being asked to share their opinions on GP services as part of the on-going General Medical Services (GMS) Review. Feedback from the pop-ups will feed into the health board’s plan for the future of GP services in Upper Annandale. Designed to be quick, simple, and convenient - no appointment is needed. Questions are straightforward, with no jargon, simply asking one simple question - what matters most to you about your GP practice? Deputy Medical Director and GP Dr Grecy Bell said: “We often hear from staff about what needs to improve, but patients sometimes see things differently. “These events are a chance to consider everything we’ve heard to date, and to make sure that what’s taken forward reflects the needs of everyone.”
The pop-up events in Moffat and Lockerbie will take place on the following dates:
- Lockerbie: Tuesday October 28 at Tesco from 3 pm to 6 pm
- Moffat: Wednesday November 28, location TBC from 3 pm to 6 pm
