Views sought on new Moffat pharmacy

MOFFAT could be getting a new pharmacy and residents are being invited to have their say.

Davidsons Chemists is considering an application for a pharmacy at 7 Well Street.

The company has begun a joint consultation with NHS Dumfries and Galloway which runs from 6 March until 13 July this year and will gather views on whether the new pharmacy is needed and what services it should offer. It will also seek opinions on opening hours and how a new pharmacy could affect other health and care services in Moffat and the surrounding area.

A spokesperson for NHS Dumfries and Galloway said: “All views are welcome, from any person or group in or outside Moffat. An online form at dghscp.co.uk/consultations provides more information about the proposed new pharmacy allows responses to be given anonymously. Printed versions of the form will also be distributed at healthcare locations in and around Moffat.”
