Upgrade works start at leisure centre

MERRICK Pool is now closed for refurbishment works. Dumfries and Galloway Council are carrying out a mechanical and electrical upgrade to existing services at the leisure centre, including fitting new radiators and heating system, upgrading plumbing and showers, and cleaning/repairs to existing ventilation ductwork/grilles. The interior will also benefit from an aesthetic uplift, such as a deep clean, new tiling to shower and toilet areas, a new pool cover and some decoration.
