Tree halts trains

A FALLEN tree is causing disruption to train services on the West Coast Mainline between Lockerbie and Carstairs today. It fell onto overhead electrical wires last night, causing damage. And it means the West Coast Mainline is currently closed in both directions between Carlisle and Glasgow and Edinburgh. Major disruption is expected until about 2pm.
