Tree felling on A75
Published: 17th March 2026|Location: Regionwide
ESSENTIAL woodland management has started on a section of the A75.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking the work between Shennanton and Collin until Friday April 10 between the hours of 6 am and 8 pm each day.
This tree felling is required due to the presence of Ash Dieback disease and will be carried out with the use of overnight lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout.
However, the scheme is weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
