‘Sloany’, from Lockerbie, was led onto the Galabank pitch by his nieces Abbie and Emily and nephew Jackson for the game against the blues.
He was substituted off with a minute to go and enjoyed a standing ovation from the packed crowd.
And there was further celebrations for fans when the whistle blew on a home side victory of 5-2.
