Showtime for Corsock

THE Great Corsock Show returns this Saturday, with numerous prizes up for grabs.

This year’s show features 59 categories, with judges assessing everything from jams and baking, through to wood-craft and sweet peas.

Residents and visitors can also enter the scarecrow competition for the chance of a cash prize. Additionally, this year's special judge’s challenge is an individual cheesecake.

Entries can be dropped off at Corsock hall on Friday night between 7- 8.30 pm or on the Saturday morning 9.30-10.45 am.

The doors are then closed at 10.45 am and the judging begins.

At 12.30, the BBQ opens for business and at 1 pm the ribbon is cut to allow all to enter the hall and assess the competition, and enjoy a slice of cake from the cafe.

At 2.30 pm there is the produce auction, a raffle and prizes announced.
