Ride out dates revealed

DATES for the rideouts for Dumfries’ Riding of the Marches have been announced. The first ride out ahead of Guid Nychburris celebrations in June will take place on Friday May 22, leaving Huntington Market from 6.30 pm. Thereafter the rideouts will take place on the following dates:

• Netherwood Farm – Tuesday May 26 at 7 pm
• Tinwald Shaws – Sunday May 31 at 2 pm
• Overbanks – Tuesday June 2 at 7 pm
• Douivale – Friday June 5 at 7 pm
• Belton Hill - Sunday June 7, leaving Park Farm at 2 pm
• Dumfries Town Rideout, incorporating Summer Park and Dock Park – Tuesday June 9 at 6.30 pm
• Mabie – Sunday June 14, leaving Park Farm at 2 pm
• Kingholm – Thursday June 18, leaving Huntington Market 7 pm
• Guid Nychburris Day – Saturday June 28, leaving the High Street at 7.40 am
