Restaurant retains its Michelin rating
DUMFRIES' Globe Inn have retained their place in the Michelin Guide for the fourth year running. The historic eatery has held its coveted place in the guide, having been a consistent fixture since its inaugural listing in 2022. Its team of chefs say their success lies in its uncompromising dedication to freshness and provenance. Central to the curated seasonal menus is the use of produce grown at the restaurant's own kitchen garden at Comlongon Estate. Fraser Cameron, Head Chef at The Globe Inn, commented: "Working with the produce from our own garden allows us to push the boundaries of technical precision while staying true to our roots. For me, professional success is a platform for community empowerment; whether we are plating a 7-course tasting menu or mentoring the next generation of talent, the goal is always to prove that world-class excellence and local inclusivity can coexist beautifully in Dumfries".
